Dread Necromancer

The warforged are not the only weapon that is known to be worthwhile against the Illithid masses that dwell underneath the cities of the empire. The bodies found much closer to the surface, renewed to face that which slew them the first time in many cases, are also strong against the tools of those flayer armies. The dread necromancer is a result of the need for more and more undead to fill the holes in the armies of the Holy Golmorian Empire. Not just a master of undeath surrounding themselves, but a master of undeath within as well. Some have served for centuries, creating masses of zombies, skeletons, and greater undead while observing the trends of the Guardian War. In many ways, they are the institutional knowledge of the Golmorian Army, and often serve in its highest ranks.

Your knowledge of the necrotic arts have brought you closer and closer to undead immortality. You can call undead creatures from beyond the grave to serve it and to smite your enemies with fell magic that drain energy for your own use. You grow to understand that the differences between life and death are smaller than awake and sleeping, and use that understanding to grow even more powerful.

Dread Necromancer path features
Touch of the Tomb (11th level): Whenever you spend an action point, until the end of the turn your attacks deal an extra 10 necrotic damage.
Shroud of the Grave (11th level): All undead within 5 squares of you that you chose lose any vulnerability to radiant energy.
Necromatic Aura (Necrotic) aura 3 (16th level): Any creature you chose that enters or starts its turn within the aura takes 5 + your Intelligence modifier necrotic damage.

You throw your arms out, and with them comes a purple, draining wave of necrotic energy.

Attack: Charisma, Intelligence, or Wisdom vs. Fortitude
Hit: 3d6 + Charisma, Intelligence, or Wisdom Necrotic damage
Effect: Each undead ally in the burst heals an amount equal to the damage dealt by the attack.

Call of the Grave Dread Necromancer Utility 12
You recite dread words that seem to dig deep into the mind of those around you, and suddenly they see that it has dug deep into the ground as well as rotting corpses pull themselves up and throw themselves at your enemies.

Effect: Three undead minion’s of the Dread Necromancer’s level or lower appear in any unoccupied space within range. These undead minions take their turns immediately after the dread necromancer.
Sustain Minor: The undead persist.

The Cold Embrace of Life Dread Necromancer Attack 20
You now know that it is not death that chills someone as their life ends, but the final understanding of life. You flick your wrist at your enemy, and watch the color drain from their face as they understand their existence, or at least what remains of it.

Hit: 4d8 + Charisma, Intelligence, or Wisdom necrotic and cold damage, and the creature is stunned (save ends).
Miss: Half damage, and the creature is dazed until the end of its next turn.
